Thanks for stopping by! I'm Deya, a postdoctoral researcher in the department of English at the University of Toronto, ON. My work is inspired by the various constructions of race, disability, and gender in the premodern world, especially as considered through the lens of monstrosity. While this website is meant to offer you a brief small glimpse into my professional and research interests, I hope this offers us a chance to begin some new conversations---perhaps even beyond immediate disciplinary, methodological, or historical frameworks.
